Boeing keeps the pace towards X-66A sustainable flight demonstrator

🤝 Boeing is partnering with RTX’s Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace to develop the NASA-backed X-66A sustainable flight demonstrator.

This project aims to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions by replacing wings and engines on an MD-90 airframe.

🗓️ Ground and flight testing is scheduled for 2028.

♻️ This collaboration is a significant step towards the decarbonisation of aviation and innovation in aerospace technology.
